Primates in Biomedical Research focuses on the importance of using nonhuman primates in biomedical research. This site is intended to guide you to a variety of helpful resources, from the basic reasons why medical progress depends on humane research with nonhuman primates among other species, to search engines you can use if you are looking for articles on a specific disease or disorder, such as diabetes, infertility, AIDS, Parkinson's, Alzheimers, Lyme disease, malaria and more.
You will also find educational resources for all ages, links to health charities and other organizations that support research aimed at finding cures for diseases, and contacts to whom you can write for additional information.
