Presented are a series of illustrations from the 1862 book, Die Vollstandigste Naturgeschichte der Affen (The Complete Natural History of the Apes) by H.G. Ludwig Reichenbach. These hand-colored lithographs are fine early examples of primate taxonomic illustration. Also of interest is the iconographic 'Great White Hunter' inset drawing found in Plate 35.
