Libraries and other organizations, both in the U.S. and internationally, can request audiovisual items, monographs, and photocopies of articles or chapters from journals, reprints or books located at the WPRC Library through interlibrary loan. Individuals wishing to borrow items from the WPRC Library must make a request through their local campus library, corporate library, or public library.
WPRC Library holdings are listed on OCLC and SERHOLD/DOCLINE. In addition, books and journals can be searched on MadCat, the University of Wisconsin-Madison's online catalog, at: http://madcat.library.wisc.edu. Videos in the WPRC Audiovisual Archive can be searched at: http://www.primate.wisc.edu/pin/av.html

The WPRC Library prefers ILL requests through OCLC or DOCLINE, although we will also accept requests by ALA form, FAX, email, surface mail, or phone.
If you require rush service, please indicate this in your request.
The Copyright Law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
