Over the past 29 years, I have written trivia quizzes for a variety of live shows, publications, and web sites. From 1996-2001, I served as the trivia master for the New York Times Trivia Quiz. An archive of quizzes covering a wide range of subject matter is still available on the New York Times site. I also post my Question of the Day Monday through Friday to a mailing list of almost 300 players.
As a member of the powerhouse team, Network, I have been a 16-time winner of the World's Largest Media Trivia Contest in Stevens Point, WI. I was also a member of the winning team at the University of Colorado National Trivia Bowl in 1986 and have been elected to the Trivia Bowl Hall of Fame.
I have had more than 1,900 crossword puzzles published in such publications as the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Games Magazine, New York Sun, CrosSynergy, Newsday, Simon and Schuster Crossword Puzzle Books, and Dell Champion Crosswords. I am the co-author of "Challenging 30-Minute Crosswords" and one of the writers for the "Star Trek Crosswords" series.
