Before services can be provided you must establish an account with the University of Wisconsin National Primate Research Center (WNPRC). The following information about the account set-up process is provided for you and your purchasing agent.
If you are part of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and will be using funds administered through the WISDM accounting system, you can send an e-mail authorizing the Primate Center to charge services to your UW Fund-Project. Include your department, fund and project numbers. Your UW project number will be used as your Primate Center account number.
If you are an external customer a purchase order, written in U.S. funds, needs to be issued to the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center. It is recommended that your purchase order be a blanket order, valid for services over a range of time and indicating a begin and end date, rather than one specific date. This eliminates the need for additional purchase orders and the creation of new WNPRC accounts if additional services are required.
The blanket order must include complete address information for submission of invoices. Include the name, e-mail address, and phone number of the individual to contact once the account is established. The official vendor copy of the purchase order should be mailed to:
Wisconsin National Primate Research Center
Attn: Katie Olson
1220 Capitol Court
Madison, WI 53715
Alternatively you may fax your purchase order to (608) 262-8946, or send via email to Katie Olson
Upon receipt of a valid purchase order a WPRC account number will be established. The contact person specified on the purchase order will be notified of the WPRC account number. Include this account number when submitting samples or requests for service. It is the responsibility of the account holder to ensure that the dollar amount indicated on the purchase order is not exceeded.
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. Checks, payable in U.S. funds and drawn on a U.S. bank, should be issued to: Wisconsin National Primate Research Center.
